week 6 reflection

 The highlight of my week was doing my Pepeha because I learned lots more about my family. We had to say what our Manga, Moana, Awa, Waka, Kura, Ahau and Whanua . In translation is Mountain, Ocean, River, Canoe, School, Where your from and family name. I my other highlight is swimming zones tomorrow i will be versing other school in town. 

The thing that was challenging was  Maths because we had to do division. I don´t really like maths that much but i tried a division it was big maths problems. We had to solve 9 divided by 99  we used a strategy to get the answer. 

What i have done to show the mercy values was at swimming practice i was yelling ¨Keep on going you got this¨. I helped a little kid to find her hat and we played with each other in the playground .

The thing i am looking froward to is spelling because i love going the spelling task everyday. I learn how to write lot of word and do three task with it its so cool and fun to do.

 

Week 5 reflation

This week i learnt in our word of the week the word was  sensational. I learnt what sensational means, It means to be lovely, excellent and great. I did my spelling task, we did swimming training, I did my Pepeha and we had Mahi Tahi.

What I i really like was R.E  because I learnt what happens on the second day of lent and I also learnt a prayer to say. We had to talk about how a person in you friendship change their personalty.

The thing i found challenging was my word of the week like how to pronounce the word sensational it took me time to say the word but i got it .it took me a while to find what the definition is in a dictionary , what it look like , and what it sound like.

I have worked towards some of my goals by adding paragraphs in my writing and blogs. Next week i want to work on my pronunciation in my work that i do.

The mercy values mean to stick up for yourself and others when they are hurt. I have shown the mercy values by helping my friends in need of help and i have been respecting others personal space.

I am really look forward to spelling test because it is a very fun task to do when you are in class. You learn lots of new word and learn how to write them. 

Week 4 reflection

 My highlight for this week is swimming sports because the whole school gets to go to the pools for swimming. We had to go in our house groups there was Yellow, Red, Blue, Green. I am in Yellow house group. We did freestyle, Backstroke and breaststroke I came second in freestyle and last in breaststroke but at least i tried my best  and i did not want to do backstroke. 

The thing that was challenging was a boat the floats. We had to make a boat that floats with only paper, tape and scissors. I was stuck on planning what my boat was going to look like and how its going to float. It was very challenging to do this task but i did it.

What have I done to walk in the footstep of Jesus is giving up on thing like sitting doing nothing but go and walk around and trying to give up fat food.

I have shown the mercy value by cheering people at swimming sport like people that was in my team and people was not in my team.
