Week 3 reflection

 The highlight of my week was tech because it was the year 7 first year going to tech. At tech the year 7 and 8 got split up in to different class. The year 7 got Matua smith  and the year 8 got  Mr Subritzky. Matua smith dose wood work the first thing we learnt was to freehand sketch a box. After that we had to put on some safety glasses on because Matua smith was cutting wood for us. We got the wood and we had to make a butt gap it is when you make a gap for another piece of wood to fit in.

The thing I found challenging this week was swimming because swimming is not one of my favourite things to do but I always try my best at it.

Something I want to work on next week is my maths because I don´t really like maths but I really want to get better at it. I want to work on solve problems faster and quicker.

I showed the mercy values this week by helping a little kids in the playground. on of the kids wanted to know where her friend was and there was another kid wanted help on the flying fox.

I am looking forward to words of the week  next week because learning new words in class is very interesting to to me.

Mercy values

Last week we learnt about the mercy values. Some of my class did slide and the rest did videos. My group Portia, Kata, Jasmine and me did a video. our video was played on a iPad and it had to be all about the mercy values.

The names of the mercy values are

week 2 reflection

 My high light for week 2 was doing the mercy value video. It was fun say all of the value like compassion,respect.Another fun thing about the video was doing it with my friends we did lots of bloopers when we were doing the film.

The thing that i found challenging was swimming training its because swimming is not one of my favourite sports but i still give it a go.

What was a  success i have had was my word of the week.The word we had to do was cacophony that word means a loud harsh discordant of sound.Why i accomplish this task it because it was hard trying to say cacophony and trying to find what it means.

What i learnt was the mercy values and to what they mean. Compassion,compassion is when you stick up for yourselves and other.Respect,is when you respectful of everyone differences. Hospitality,It mean to welcome others  and to be friends to people and I am not going to do the rest.

I am looking forward to more RE and maths. 

Week 1 Reflection

 At the start of week 1 I felt very nervous  to start school. When school started i was over thinking so much of what to do in a new class.

The highlight of my week is to be in a bran new class room with new friends and new teacher. My highlight is getting to walk in the church once again.

The thing i found challenging was  to make friends with the new kid in our school.

I am really look forward to this year of being an year 7 and taking responsibility in our school.
